Vintage Performance by the Bulls in Vineman 70.3

Imagine taking three of the most uptight triathletes ever to come out of Kansas City, guys who measure the weight of their chamois creme and know how many watts it costs them for a snot rocket, and putting them together to race in the adult playground that is Napa Valley.  That actually happened at this year's Vineman 70.3 triathlon.

As expected, the three seasoned triathletes fought hard on a challenging course through wine country.  Luke Wilson avenged his 2014 Ironman Texas performance, taking 5th in his age group and 39th overall with a time of 4:29:05.   He edged out the Kona bound Mike Malfer who took 7th in his age group and 51st overall with a time of 4:32:39.  Jason Fitzhugh took 7th in his age group and 70th overall with a time of 4:35:32.   Rumor has it that Fitzi actually consumed a glass of wine at some point during the trip.  Way to let loose!
