Myers Takes 2nd in Lawyer Cup at Ironman Wisconsin

Jim Myers clocked in a solid performance at Ironman Wisconsin, taking 36th in his age group with a time of 11:18:49. That performance was also good enough for 2nd place in the Lawyer Cup where he was just one minute behind overall 40-44 lawyer winner Kenneth Abell of Port Washington, NY.  More importantly, Jim beat local Kansas City lawyer, John Snyder who bet Jim $20 the night before.  Behind Jim was fellow Bull and lawyer, Steve Cosentino who paced well for a 12:31.  Incidentally, the first and second place age group winners were both "scientists" and the third a financial analyst,  occupations with greater access to technological advantages and/or training time than our attorney participants who have been known to train with legal files in hand.
