Myers and Coz Welcome New Sponsor Roka at Ironman Boulder

The Bulls are excited to announce a new sponsor this year, the awesome team at Roka Sports who also happened to be sponsoring Ironman Boulder.  Thanks for the support, Roka!

The aqua-phobic Myers was disappointed to learn that the water temperature had climbed above the wet suit legal threshold in the few days before the race. Fortunately, he had a Roka swim skin to serve as his security blanket for the grueling swim in the Boulder Reservoir.  Coz was not so lucky, having a woman yank him underwater by the jersey followed by a yell of "Stop bumping into me!"

Nonetheless, it was an awesome day in the great state of Colorado. Jim was trying to again qualify for Kona.  Coz was simply trying to qualify for dinner, hoping to get done before the restaurants closed.  Jim came up a little short on the KQ but turned in a fine performance with a bike of 4:51:02 averaging 23..09 MPH followed by a run of 3:54:47 to finish in 10:26:15 for 11th in his division and 64th overall. COZ decided to get to know the course a little better, finishing north of 13 and failing to meet his dinner goal after walking around in a daze for an hour at the end, only to settle for the always tasty Taco Bell before turning in. Jim's wife Shannon and daughters Emily and Lauren get the award for coolest Bulls spectator attire.
