Malfer Goes Sub 10 Top 50 AG at Ironman World Championship in Kona

Mike Malfer had a stellar second performance at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii on October 10. After non-stop training all summer, M-Squared sat in a chair for a few moments the night before the big race. That moment of rest paid off big as Malfer finished the big race in 9:54:11. He finished 41st out of 302 competitors in the 40-44 Age Group with a 1:10 swim, a 5:02:58 bike and a 3:32:52 run, all in the sweltering heat of the Big Island. Kona veteran Jim Myers said "Malfer is the Real Deal!"
