Jason Fitzhugh Gets a Northern Win at Ironman 70.3 Ohio

We usually find Jason honing his triathlon skills at races in Florida and Texas.  He seems to excel in the South.  This time, he branched out of his comfort zone to Ohio and the results were excellent.  Jason took 1st place in his age group and 20th overall.  Jason had a swim of 32:54, a bike of 2:23:24 and a run of 1:33:25 for an overall time of 4:34:11.  Jason said, "After a mental breakdown and DNF at Boulder IM I came back and won my AG at 70.3 Ohio...ran down first place in last mile..."   Great to see Jason running down someone for a victory.  We wondered whether Jason was too old to read the age numbers on his opponents calves, but it sounds like his eyesight is holding up.   Nice work, Jason!
