Fitzhugh has Top 50 at 70.3 Champs - Myers Keeps It Up

Jason Fitzhugh placed 48th in his age group at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Mont Tremblant, Canada with a time of 4:38:23.  He averaged 36.54 km/h on the bike and 4:26 m/kh on the run,.  We really have no idea what that means other than FAST.  This result will place Jason in the elite of American Ironman 70.3 racers.  Nice work Jason!

Jim Myers fared well also, with a time of 4:47:41 in a race he had to "take easy" due to his recent qualification for the Ironman World Championships in Kona.

Meanwhile, COZ toughed out a gritty performance at Ironman Maryland, averaging 21.5 on the bike and keeping his throbbing Achilles at bay (no pun intended) for a 12:27.  Not exactly a fast result, but another IM on the books.  Good luck in a couple of weeks to our Kona bound Bulls: Bob Schloegel, Mike Malfer and Jim Myers.
