Fitzhugh and Myers Open the 2017 Ironman Season at Texas

Jason Fitzhugh and Jim Myers got an early start to the Ironman season at the Ironman North American Championship in the Woodlands, Texas.  Jason took 7th in his division with a swim of 1:10:07, a bike of 5:07:19 and a run of 3:23:50 for a total time of 9:49:51.  Myers took 14th in is division with a swim of 1:14:24, a bike of 5:05:47 and a run of 3:23:59 for a total time of 9:52:26.  Notwithstanding an awesome sub-10 hour performance, Myers announced his retirement from long course triathlon.  We will see how long that holds . . . .
