Extended Pre-Season a Boon to the Bulls

With mother nature reeking havoc on the cursed plains of Kansas, the Bulls did manage to sneak in an early season race or two.  Mark Fleisschman and his son Mason participated in the Scout Strong challenge at the legends. Mason Fleischman, age 9 ran a 5k in 23:41 (7:39 min/mile), taking first place in the field of 35  0-9 year old boys, winning by 4:10. Mark also participated and finished 1st place in the 40-44 men out of 41 in the age group.

Coz tied for first place in the LAKC Run for Justice 5k, proving his penchant for outrunning fellow lawyers, at least when Myers doesn't show up.

In Raging Bulls Cycling, Doug Campbell represented the Bulls well in the Joseph Sheehan Road Race from Leavenworth to Atchinson, KS and Back.  Doug took 5th place in the Masters 50 -59 Category.

The annual Hospital Hill Run was a great family event for the Bulls.  Pat Donnelly ran with his daughter Mary as did Sandy Cohen with his daughter Taylor in the 10K. Tim Mezger is a fellow Board Member and donated his time at the race along with reliable half-marathon pacers Jimmy and Mark Montalto. Mike Somers' wife and daughter ran in the event, as did April Mezger.
