Campbell takes on Windy City and wins Chicago Cup

Doug Campbell traveled to Chicago on the second weekend of November for a pair of races. “My goal was improving my USA Cycling ranking which determines start position at nationals in Seattle in December,” said the ultra focused cyclist. Doug picked Chicago because of its large fields with strong riders, helping him improve in the rankings. Doug placed third in the 55 and over Illinois State Cyclocross championships and then on Sunday he won the 55 and over Chicago Cup series race against a field of 35 riders. Congrats Doug and good luck in Seattle!
