Bulls Dominate Podium at Legends Triathlon in Lawrence

While dismayed that Ironman no longer supports our local community with an event, the Bulls were happy to support the successor triathlon, Legends at Clinton Lake in Lawrence on Sunday, June 5th. Taking advantage of the location that started Jim's journey to World Championship qualification two years ago, the Myers put in a strong effort at the 70.3 distance, taking first in his age group and fifth overall with a time of 4:42. Mark Montalto took 5th in his age group with a time of 5:06. Jimmy decided to take advantage of the aqua bike 70 competition, winning first overall with a time of 3:11. Meanwhile, the Bulls put together the first overall relay team consisting of Jack Zink on the swim, Tony Zink on the bike and Bob Schloegel on the run. They won first place overall with a time of 4:44. Nice effort, Bulls!
