Bob and Sam Crush it at Jackson County Tri

Veteran racer but rookie bull Bob Schloegel put in an outstanding effort at the Jackson County Triathlon.  Bob swam in 24:19, biked at a 23.9 pace and ran at a 6:36 pace to finish as the third overall athlete.  His total time was 2:01:55 in this odd distance race. Fellow rookie Sam Kuykendall has a stellar, first out of the water, swim of 21:33 followed by a bike at a 23.6 pace and a run at 7:04 pace to finish with a 2:02:29 good enough for 4th overall and 1st in his division.  Meanwhile, COZ still reeling from an Ironman Boulder race a couple of weeks earlier, faded fast on the run after a decent bike.  He did find his calling, however, when he found his second wind after the turn and paced Michelle Lingenfelser to a photo finish against a girl twenty years younger.  Coz was glad to learn that his efforts helped Michelle earn a podium spot.
